Industrial Engineer from the Andes University in Bogotá, committed to such issues as poverty, social engineering and sustainable development in Colombia. He has actively participated in leadership and social responsibility programs, such as the founding of Fundación Calasanz, the Engineers Without Borders-Colombia group, the Colombian Youth Network (RECOJO) and ID Social.
He received the “University Social Responsibility” award in 2010, for his efforts as an agent of change and social development in the country.
Co-author of the chapter titled “Water Engineering: Sustainable Development Challenges for Vulnerable Communities- Colombian Case” in “Water Engineering”, a book published in 2011.
He is currently a Colombian Ambassador to One Young World, a member of RECOJO’s board, as well as co-founder and Vice-president of Social Business in “ID Social”.
