Laura is an artist and holds a Master Degree in Arts with a focus on Cultural Projects from the Andes University. She is the Director and Founder of the Global Warning Agency, a foundation committed to creative and sustainable development in Colombia, established in 2008.
She’s served as Special Exhibits coordinator with the “Nueveochenta” Contemporary Art Gallery, since 2011, and driven strategic organizational alliances with other galleries, business firms, cultural venues, and museums.
Chosen as “Global Changemaker” in 2008, and as “Climate Champion” in 2011. She has participated in high-profile events such as CIVICUS, One Young World, Global Power Shift, TEDxYouth, and the Global Economic Forum, advocating the importance of creative and sustainable development on a national and international scale. Greatly interested in finding the common ground between creativity and sustainability.
